Portraits are ideally taken close to sunrise or sunset. The light is softer, which is more flattering and has more color. Every family is unique, but I recommend photographing families with toddlers and young children at sunrise. Kids are rested and ready to smile. Older children and big families with several generations usually do the best closer to sunset. 

 

Senior Portraits

 

Senior portraits are ideally taken two hours before sunset. Seniors are encouraged to show their personalities with outfit changes or including their dog or new car. Bring along your mom and a friend to style you and make you laugh.
